Carly Rae Jepsen put out a few calls when it came to enlisting some upbeat A-listers to help her put the finishing touches on her September debut album. And, they called her back. No maybes about it.

In addition to her duet with Owl City, "Good Time," she also found some accomplices in other chart-toppers, ranging from one half of LMFAO to the one and only Justin Bieber.

"The way my album has come together has been sort of a shock for me," Jepsen told MTV News. On her track with Redfoo, the "Call Me Maybe" singer explained, "It's really neat. We made friends and started working on a song together, and we actually started working on a majority of that song over the phone.

"Also worked with Jack [Antonoff, guitarist] from the band Fun., and that was sort of a random collaboration of us both really digging what the other person did," she continued. "And the last collaboration is a song with Justin Bieber. We're gonna do a little duet. And then the rest are sort of like, I think 'Call Me Maybe' is a pretty fair representation. It is pop, but there's also dance-pop and a little hint of folk-pop."

Obviously, Bieber is more than just a really famous dude she made a song with: He also happens to be her boss, and she said the track was a bit of a happy accident.

"It was a song that him and Toby Gad brought to the table and asked [me to record]," she recalled. "Actually, on my first introduction of Bieber, he was like, 'Do you wanna sing this song?' I said, 'Yes!' I love that track as well, so it was exciting."

Which collaboration are you most looking forward to hearing?
