Send by email SEOUL, KOREA ? South Korea-based mobile game publisher Palmple, founded in October last year, is now fully prepared for making forays into overseas markets. Palmple, which signed a contract with Japan?s Pokelabo to launch its TCG (trading card game) Devil Maker Tokyo in Japan, is now making preparations to enter the US and China.
Seo Hyun-seung, CEO of Palmple, said, ?We have completed the building of a global service platform (GSP) and we will soon launch our games in the US in a direct manner. As for the Chinese market, we are currently looking for a proper local partner and contemplating which games should be launched in China.?
CEO Seo used to work for Neowiz, NCSoft and NHN?s Hangame. First of all, Palmple?s virgin game ?Devil Maker? succeeded in finding favor with domestic gamers. And Devil Maker? first overseas?target market was Japan where TCGs are in.
While joining hands with local game publishers in Japan and China, Palmple looks to launch its mobile games directly in other overseas markets, including the US, via its GSP.
