VILLAGE OF BLOOMINGTON - The National Weather Service is releasing new information about a tornado that touched down in southwest Wisconsin amid a wave of severe storms that moved across the state Tuesday night."The tornado touched down and hit one property in the Bloomington Wisconsin area," explains Tod Shea with the La Crosse National Weather Service."It tore the roof off of a house, blew out windows and caused a lot of tree damage on the property as well."According to the weather service, the EF2 twister had winds between 115 and 120 miles per hour."The house wasn't completely demolished to the ground, but losing the roof like it did and some of the wall structure it will probably not be inhabitable," says Shea.It damaged four other buildings but no one was injured.Officials estimate that it traveled two-tenths of a mile and was 70 yards wide.
